Stair Nosing
You are legally obliged to have nosing on commercial stairs. Ref. M (ADM) Building Regulations 2000 & BS8300 : 2009 & A1 : 2010. They protect the edge of the floor covering from wearing, prolonging it’s life and minimising trip hazards. The choice between the large ranges available depends on the traffic levels.
Floor Trims
Available in a wide choice of shapes and colours. Transition strips can be selected to blend in with the surrounding floor covering providing for curved or straight joins. They can highlight walkways or breakout areas, they can be used for doorways and to frame entrance matting preventing joins from fraying.
